FRAMES

MCT Brattberg’s range of transit frames, for both welding and bolting, meet the various requirements of offshore and marine applications. RGS is the most common frame type. RGSF and RGSFB frames are for less accurate holes cut in decks and bulkheads. RGSC is a frame for use in high-stress areas. The RGSK frame allows installations in positions where the transit needs to elevated above possible contamination. MCT Brattberg has frames for both casting into the structure (RGB frame) and mounting in lightweight wall constructions (RGG frame).

The standard frame is made of a flat steel bar 60x10 mm or an angle bar 60x60x6 mm, in mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium. The mild steel frames are supplied with two types of surface finish, primer or galvanized. The internal width is always 120.5 ± 0.5. The height varies with the sizes - numbered 2, 4, 6 or 8, which give heights of 100, 159, 218 and 276 respectively. All the frames can be manufactured in combinations.
